Lucy currently hosts a young Women's Youth Group at the AWOL youth centre next to Gordon Library where we unpack some of the experiences that trouble young women in their day to day. The groups are split into 2 age groups.
Monday nights during term time
11-14 years - 4.00 - 5.00pm
15-18 years - 5.15 - 6.15pm
A mixed gender youth group is held at the PCYC in Waitara after the Streetwork BBQ
Tuesdays during term time
BBQ 3.30 - 5.00pm
Youth Group 14-17 years 4.45 - 5.45pm
The groups encourage meeting other people going through similar stages and much of what is shared in the youth groups will be expanded during the holidays by offering mini workshops.
The youth groups are run in association with Streetwork - a local youth mentoring charity.
Lucy is also available to host Young Womens Groups and Youth support groups in local schools and has experience with small groups as well as large year groups.
Lucy currently works as a Youth Worker and has Masters in Public Health with a focus on youth mental health. She also has a background in drama, media production, presenting, complementary health and local community public health programs and projects. She brings all of these skills and life experiences to share in her programs and workshops.
